Third-grade students received dictionaries from the Chardon Rotary on Nov. 6. Mr. Joe Zulandt and Dr. Bob Faehnle presented the dictionaries and discussed with the students the importance of a dictionary.
NDES Honors Veterans
NDES dedicated its school Mass to all the U.S. veterans on Nov. 6. During the special Mass, more than 120 U.S. veterans’ names were read at the Prayer of Thanksgiving.
Limo to Lunch
On Nov. 3, NDES students whose families participated as a platinum or gold sponsor and the top homeroom participant in the 50/50 raffle were treated to “Limo to Lunch,” enjoying Subway and Fro Yo Twist. The event was graciously donated by the Giudice family, owners and operaters of the Subway and coming soon FroYo Twist located in Chardon.
