Art Club Canvas Night
West Geauga High School art teacher Andi Jahnke and her art club established a hugely successful Canvas Night in which teachers, parents and students worked together to create holiday paintings. One of the main goals for the event was to generate funds for needy families in the area.
“With the combined efforts of art club, teachers, cash donations and other fundraisers, we were able to raise a total of $1,854,” said Jahnke.
Local businesses also donated $575 in merchandise and gift cards.
“Overall, we raised a total of $2,429 to help support three West Geauga families during the holiday season,” said Jahnke.
