Ohio Native American History

Fourth-grade social studies students researched Ohio Native Americans and created trioramas to capture a moment in time in Ohio Native American history. Students then presented their information to the rest of the class.

The hands-on comprehensive project helps develop a student’s visual and verbal presentation abilities along with strengthening their research skills.

Women’s Day Retreat

On April 5, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Notre Dame Educational Center, Sr. Melannie Svoboda, SND will lead a day of reflection for women.

The day, titled “The Lord is my Shepherd,” will be based on her new book on Psalm 23 and will consist of prayer, input sessions, sharing and personal quiet time.

Cost is $15. Speaker, continental breakfast and lunch is included.

100 Days of School

Kindergarten students at Notre Dame Elementary School celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing like they were 100 years old. The students had the opportunity to take part in several 100th day activities and see what they may look like when they are older.
