KOC Foul-Shooting Contest
The Knights of Columbus held their annual International Free Throw Championship for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 14. St. Helen students competed within their own gender and age group, with the winners moving on to the district and regional levels.
Congratulations to Mario Romagni, Kerry Kelly, Kayley Kelly and Makayla Hart for advancing to Regionals for the Knights of Columbus foul-shooting competition. The event was held at St. Hilary in Fairlawn.
Prism Glasses
Kindergarten students at St. Helen School learn about colors in science class. Students were given prism glasses with special lenses that bend and separate light into the colors of the spectrum. When students look through the glasses, rainbows magically appear.
Mrs. Wollenberg’s kindergarten class also experiments with light crystal prism that bend a beam of light into a multicolored rainbow.
