WGMS Spring Choral Concert
Under the direction of Melanie Mork-Kenedy, students in grades six through eight at West Geauga Middle School performed at the spring choral concert. Class Act Jr. also performed “Wake Me Up” with solo performances by seventh-grader Izzy Gennarelli, sixth-grader Felicity McClellan, eighth-grader Aislyn Clark and seventh-grader Abigail Moore.
EntrovationCLE
Students from West Geauga High School participated in the Young Entreprenuers Market at EntrovationCLE at Beachwood High School. The marketing program is a college tech prep course through Excel TECC a consortium of students from eight different high schools. The students operate the class as a business and are recognized as the “World’s Most Successful Junior Achievement Company.”
WGHS Seniors Excel
Congratulations to West Geauga High School students Anthony Albino and Zachary Suba for earning first place in the 2016 SkillsUSA Ohio Championships. Both Albino and Suba received gold medals and national qualifier status for their participation in the Construction Trades Career Pathways Showcase.
Excel TECC Instructor and SkillsUSA Advisor Ron Suchy and Rick Zivny prepared and accompanied these students at the SkillsUSA Ohio Championships. Excel TECC is a career technical consortium of students that representing, Aurora, Beachwood, Brush, Chagrin Falls, Mayfield, Orange, Solon and West Geauga high schools.
