NDCL received the National Blue Ribbon Award on November 8 in Washington, DC. President Dr. Michael Bates, Principal Joseph A. Waler, former President Sr. Jacquelyn Gusdane, and Science Department Chair Maureen Wahl accepted the award from Aba Kumi, Director of Blue Ribbon Schools Program. NDCL is the only high school in the entire state of Ohio to win the Blue Ribbon Award this year.
