St. Mary School third-grader Isabella Cerimele won first place in the United Way essay contest. She was the only third grader in Geauga County to win.
Her winning essay, “How I Live United,” was about her little brother Adrian and her family.
Isabella was invited to participate in the United Way annual meeting where she was recognized and received her gifts. She was joined at the luncheon by her parents, teacher and principal. Everyone is proud of Isabella and her accomplishment.
