The Breeders and Feeders 4-H Club held a meeting Jan. 21 at the Munson Town Hall. Aiden Sayre led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance. The president of the club, Shayne Delbo, called the meeting to order at 3:16 p.m. Brooke Taylor called out the role call for attendance.

The beef adviser, Courtney Munn, read the rules for the club and welcomed new club members. Leigha Fine read the minutes from the last meeting and Garrett Hastings approved the minutes. Jacob Grinstead read the treasury report, and Zach Vandevander read his health report on keeping animals safe and warm during the winter months.

The Breeders and Feeders 4-H Club also received an award for Honor Club for the numerous community service acts it did in 2017. Service projects included blankets for veterans, Geauga County food drive, Geauga County Dog Warden donations, collecting plastic caps and coupons for troops, and volunteering for the Geauga County Department of Aging.

Enrollment forms were passed out for the 2018 4-H year and the club reviewed the 2018 4-H calendar. Aiden closed the meeting with the 4-H pledge. (Submitted by Isaac Hutchinson, news reporter)
