Breeders & Feeders
At 3:10 p.m. April 22, Shane Delbo called the Breeders & Feeders 4-H meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Cloverbud members. Brooke Taylor read the club roll call and Rachel O’Reilly read the club minutes from the last meeting.
As a club, members reviewed the previous month’s news report. Cooper Jochum read the treasury report, Quinn Nelson read her safety report and the club reviewed a thank-you letter from Rescue Village thanking members for their donations of food and supplies to the animal shelter.
The group voted as a club to partner with the food drive and help provide donations for the Geauga Hunger Task Force. Avery Taylor gave out candy for the April birthdays. Quality assurance is May 5, and Lindsey Jochum read the new 4-H business. Mrs. Teichman suggested new buyer gift ideas for the club and also shared a picture of Kyle’s bench.
Garret Hastings gave out door prizes. Jacob Grinstead brought his rabbit and demonstrated showmanship for rabbits. The Cloverbuds welcomed Kelli Briggs as a new advisor and learned about feed and made their own snacks. Shane closed the meeting with the 4-H pledge.
The next meeting is in Huntsburg.(Submitted by Isaac Hutchinson, news reporter)
