Braided–n-Banded 4-H Club met on March 15. Ms. Moschella, the president of Geauga County 4-H, was the guest speaker. She sat in to see how we run our meetings.

Members of our 4-H club decorated a window at Cinda’s Restaurant in Middlefield to promote 4-H.

We submitted a $100 donation to the Family-a-Fair Committee, which goes to help families in need have a great day at the Geauga County Fair.

Braided-n-Banded 4-H Club has challenged all Geauga County 4-H Clubs to join in our Aid-n-Honor a Veteran Project 2019. We will be collecting baseball caps, books on CD, Wal-Mart gift cards, personal hygiene items, money donations and other items to be given to the Rolling Thunder, an organization committed to helping veterans.

Our annual candy sale will begin in April and we will be selling Buckeye Chocolates.

There is an advertising opportunity for businesses that would like to support 4-H. Your company can have its name on the fences that surrounds the arena at the fairgrounds. Contact 440-834-4656 if interested.

Cleanup at the fairgrounds is April 27 to get everything ready for the upcoming season.

The next meeting was scheduled for April 11 in the schoolhouse at the fairgrounds.

We look forward to our first horse show of the season on May 25. (Submitted by Kamryn Foutty and Morgan Csontos, news reporters)
