The Giggles ‘n Stitches 4-H Clubhas been sharing its love of sewing with its members and the local community since 2003. The new year is bringing new opportunities for the club.
The new 2019 officers are: Maggie Eibler, president; Autumn Hamby, vice president; Olivia Hall, secretary; Corrin Hamby, treasurer; MaryJo Hernandez, junior secretary; Rebecca Zallar, junior treasurer; and Samantha Sunderhaft, news reporter. The club is also lucky to have Grace Reed, Madelyn Tessean and Sarah Turpin as health and safety officers, Emma Parker as hospitality officer and Camden Hedrick, Dorothy Hernandez and Emily Tessean as the club historians.
Members are looking forward to their upcoming field trip to JoAnn Fabrics in Hudson on May 11 to help them purchase items to begin their sewing projects. Club advisors are Julia Wood as the lead advisor, along with Graycen Wood, Lisa Hernandez and Laura Hamby.
