Geauga Dairymen

On March 6, the Geauga Dairymen 4-H Club met at the Berkshire Hathaway office on the Chardon square for a short meeting and window painting for Ohio 4-H week. Members started the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and followed with the 4-H pledge.

Old business discussed was Dairy Palooza registration and who will be attending. Hoard’s Dairyman cow judging was due March 13.

New business discussed included fundraising with Buckeye Chocolate bars and Welch’s fruit snacks. A signup sheet was passed out for stating responsibilities through August. Members talked about the steps used in making motions and plan to use those steps going forward. Nick did a demonstration on the three types of bowling balls. Paperwork for housing agreements, lease agreements and registration was covered.
