Geauga Dairymen

Geauga Dairymen 4-H Club’s last meeting was April 25. Members discussed updates on Dairy Palooza and virtual QA options. They also discussed the topics in the April newsletter, handed out club calendars and discussed the virtual officer training session.

Lease animals for 2021 were discussed; lease fees are due by June. Members voted to send a monetary donation to Geauga County Hunger Task Force.

For member demonstration, Paul showed members how to fly fish. The education was learning about different tools used on dairy farms. Jimmy provided recreation by guessing how many Easter candies were in a jar.

The next meeting will be held on May 23 at Hastings Dairy Farm. (Submitted by Mark R., vice president)
