Sew Sew Sweet
On June 12, Sew Sew Sweet 4-H Club had a business meeting. Members talked about decorating a fair booth at the fair. Lots of people had ideas for the fair booth. Fair-goers can see all the 4-H booths at the Geauga County Fair.
On the Fourth of July, club members are going to sell candy bars to raise money for 4-H at the Thompson square. Project judging will be at Notre Dame all day on July 19.
Mrs. Briggs asked about club projects and if they were going well. Members voted to add binder projects to the judging. The binder must consist of 4-H project books, project picture, the club, advisor, name and how many years in 4-H.
At the end of the meeting, members made no sew blankets for veterans that will be handed out at the fair in the veterans tent.
The next meeting will be in July. (Submitted by Gabby Johnson, news reporter)
