Giggles ‘n Stitches

Every year, Giggles ‘n Stitches 4-H Club participates in giving back to the community through community service projects and also making donations.

One of the club’s first service projects of the year was donating to the Bainbridge Food Pantry. Led by treasurer and community service chairperson Emma Parker, the club collected donations such as canned fruit and vegetables, paper products and hygiene products. The donations were collected at the June 22 and 29 meetings.

The club also participated in the Auburn Township Roadside Litter Pick-Up on April 23, where members helped pick up litter along the roads and township properties.

The club also made a donation to Family-A-Fair, an organization that helps give the full Geauga County Fair experience to families in need by covering the cost of admission, along with providing vouchers for food and rides.

In early August, the club created 11 no-sew blankets for the veterans. The blankets will be distributed to veterans at the Geauga County Fair this year.
