Geauga Prime Time
Geauga Prime Time is a dedicated and hard-working 4-H club that does everything it can to do to “make the best better.” It is a multi-animal club where the kids raise anything from chickens to lambs to cows. It is a very young and enthusiastic club that is very involved in the community.
At the last meeting members put together care packages for soldiers with many essential items like toothbrushes and deodorant. They also helped out at the spaghetti dinner to support the family that tragically lost their mother and child in a fire. They will also be making blankets for veterans.
In addition, they will be having many fundraisers including a “dine and donate” at the local restaurant, Manga Manga, on a date to be determined whereby mentioning “Geauga Prime Time,” 20 percent of the proceeds will go to the club. Another fundraiser they will be doing is the annual corn and bake sale at Burton Square on Aug. 6. (Submitted by Isabella Zaffiro, news reporter)
