VAC Juried Art Exhibit

The Valley Art Center, 155 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls, will hold its 45th annual Juried Art Exhibit opening reception and awards presentation on Nov. 4 from 6-8 p.m. The exhibit runs through Dec. 14.

Artists living within a 250-mile radius of Chagrin Falls were invited to submit artwork for consideration. Approximately 300 pieces were juried to 100 pieces representing many mediums.

Cash awards will be given along with several community sponsored awards.

WomenSafe Theater Party

Nov. 27, 2 p.m.

The matinee performance of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at the Chagrin Valley Little Theater is a benefit hosted by Friends of WomenSafe. The lobby will open at 1 p.m. for a gift certificate raffle. Complimentary refreshments will be served during intermission.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children aged 10 and under, making it a great bargain. The theater party is made possible through the generosity of the Junction Auto Family.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical based on the “coat of many colors” story of Joseph from the Bible’s Book of Genesis, with lyrics by Tim Rice.
