GANG Features Artist Bert Self
June 16, 6:30-8 p.m.
The Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) program will feature Chesterland-based painter and sculptor Bert Self. Host for the evening will be local photographer Frank Fendi.
The educational program, which is free and open to the general public, will take place at Heinen’s Cafe, 402 Center St. in Chardon. No reservations are necessary.
Self’s artistic life takes its inspiration from the beauty of nature, “as God designed it and revealed it.” Although she is currently working primarily on oil paintings and sculptors, her media interests encompass cartooning, illustration, large-scale acrylics on pegboard, glass blowing and even dance. Her talk will focus on her life as an artist and the sources of her inspiration.
