GANG Welcomes Nature Artist

Aug. 18, 6:30-8 p.m.

The Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) program will feature Geauga County painter John Corrigan at Heinen’s Cafe, 402 Center St. in Chardon. Host for the evening will be art therapist Joyce Gagnon.

Corrigan’s GANG presentation will include the inspiring story of how, during a painful life transition, he discovered that art can also serve as therapy. The educational program is free and open to the general public; no reservations are necessary.

Corrigan works predominantly in watercolor and ink. His work was recently exhibited at Hamlet Village in Chagrin Falls, and his commis-sioned works include a painting currently on exhibit at the Geauga Observatory.

Pianist Marge Adler

Aug. 19, 6 p.m.

Enjoy a concert by contemporary and classical pianist and entertainer Marge Adler at Hamlet Atrium, 200 Hamlet Hills Drive, Chagrin Falls. Marge will entertain with a versatile show with a mix of musical styles from classical to barrelhouse blues. She was the former organist for the Cleveland Indians Baseball Team.

American Winds Jazz Conductor

Veteran Cleveland Band Leader Paul Laurence brings American Winds Jazz to play at Hamlet Atrium, 200 Hamlet Hills Drive, Chagrin Falls. Listen to great swing tunes played by great Cleveland professional musicians.
