2015 Burton Art Show

Oct. 6-11

The Burton Art Show, sponsored by The Friends of the Burton Public Library, features the work of artists from Geauga and Lake counties.

The show is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to

4 p.m.; and Sunday, from 1-4:30 p.m-

The library is located at 14588 W. Park St. in Burton.

Call to Entry for VAC Show

Oct. 21-24

The call to entry for the Valley Art Center’s 44th annual Juried Show is now open. Artists living within a 250 mile radius of Chagrin Falls are invited to submit artwork for consideration. Each artist is invited to submit up to two pieces in any art medium. Work can be submitted Oct. 2123 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Work will be judged on quality, originality, concept, design and tech-nique. Cash awards will be given.

The opening reception, which is free and open to the public, is Nov. 6 from 6-8 p.m. The show will run through Dec. 23.

VAC is located at 155 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls.
