Geauga Hunger Task Force Benefit Planned
Dec. 5, 7 p.m. and Dec. 6, 3 p.m.
The Good Tidings Benefit Choir is once again going to perform its musical magic for the community at the Notre Dame Cathedral Educational Center Chapel, 13000 Auburn Road in Munson.
Celebrating its 26th year, the popular program raises money through goodwill offerings for the Geauga Hunger Task Force, which consists of seven emergency food pantries throughout the county.
The Good Tidings Choir will be performing many Christmas selections, including a portion of GF Handel’s “Messiah.” Also performing will be Pilgrim Brass on both days, The Madison Chorale on Saturday and Nada Clue barbershop quartet on Sunday.
All attending will be invited to sing the Hallelujah chorus at the closing of the program. Admission is free, but a goodwill offering will be collected. Reservations are not necessary.
Hamlet Concert Series
Dec. 15, 7 p.m.
Hamlet Concert Series presents The Western Reserve Chorale in concert under the direction of David Gilson in the Hamlet Atrium, 200 Hamlet Hills Drive, Chagrin Falls. The renowned Cleveland chorus will perform high quality choral music of the holiday season and traditional favorites by Rutter, Gabrieli, Howells, Pinkham and more. The public is welcome.
