Events at New Promise Church
New Promise Church is accepting registration for vacation Bible school taking place June 24-28 from 9 a.m. to noon for children kindergarten through sixth-grade. Fees are $12 per child or $25 per family.
Kids In Action, a camp for youth entering grades 4-7, will be held June 24-28 at the church. Drop-off is at 8 a.m. on Monday and pickup is at 4 p.m. Friday. Cost is $100 per child. Registration forms are available at Promisetown sign in.
The annual Summer Fun Fest will be held on June 26 from 5:30-8 p.m. There will be fun for the whole family, including inflatables, kids games, wagon rides, cakewalk, paint ball, car show and good food.

Summer Solstice Festival
Celebrate the summer solstice on June 21 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Federated Church Family Life Center, 16349 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge. All are welcome for a prayerful walk on the outdoor labyrinth by the waterfall at the Solstice Labyrinth Festival.
The gathering will begin with a short presentation by Kathleen Maxwell, a trained labyrinth presenter, on how to use the labyrinth as a prayerful tool. A dance of universal peace will be held at 7:30 p.m. Kathleen Calby will play the singing bowls at 8 p.m. for meditation.
The evening will end with a prayerful burning bowl ceremony on the labyrinth. A vegan food stand will be available all evening.
