Geauga Beef and Swine 4-H Club held its July 12 meeting outside at the Geauga County Fairgrounds. Roll call was done with members stating their favorite ice cream flavors. Members like to have fun at the meetings.
Reports were given by club members about swine digestive systems, swine nutrients, cuts of pork and rumen anatomy.
Members have learned that Geauga County is going ahead with a normal fair this year. Members are to work on buyers letters for their market projects. Skillathon will be done online for all 4-H members.
Market chicken projects will be starting the week of July 13. Geauga Beef and Swine members will be cleaning up after the Antique Market on July 18. The club is also donating $100 to the Hunger Task Force Food Drive.
