GCPL Hosts Donation Days

With COVID-19 restrictions lifted, Geauga County Public Library is now able to accept donations of book sale materials. Community members may bring their gently used materials to the following branches on the following days and times:

Middlefield Branch, 16167 East High St., Middlefield:

July 8, 1-8 p.m., July 9, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; July 10, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Chardon Branch, 110 East Park St.:

July 15, 1-8 p.m.; July 16, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; July 17, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Geauga West Branch, 13455 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township:

July 22, 1-8 p.m.; July 23, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; July 24, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thompson Branch, 6645 Madison Road, Thompson Township:

July 24, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; July 26, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bainbridge Branch,17222 Snyder Road, Bainbridge Township:

July 29, 1-8 p.m.; July 30, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; July 31, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations of hardcover and paperback fiction and nonfiction, cookbooks, dictionaries and reference, children’s books, audiobooks on CD, DVDs, travel books and computer books less than three years old and textbooks less than 10 years old are welcome. No encyclopedias, periodicals, magazines, newspapers, journals, VHS, music CDs, audio cassettes or anything damaged or dirty.

All donations help support Geauga County Library Foundation book sales. If one has more than a trunk load, call 440-286-6359.
