Prevent identity theft and get rid of clutter at the free shred day. Bring up to five standard-sized bags or boxes of sensitive documents to be shredded on site by Protect-N-Shred.

Girl Scout Cadettes in grades 6-8 can earn their Comic Artist badge. All troops welcome.

Yoga for Beginners

Sept. 30, 9:30-11 a.m.
A local yoga instructor will teach routines with different poses. Bring a mat and any props one needs. For 65 and under. Waiver is required.

Teen Vaping Dangers

Sept. 30, 7 p.m.
Judge Timothy Grendell will discuss the dangerous epidemic of teen vaping.

Cox and Hull Genealogy

Oct. 1, 7 p.m.

Join moderator Linda Spehn for a discussion of the ancestry of the Cox and Hull families, who have impacted Auburn and the surrounding areas over the last 100 years.

Tween Art 

Oct. 2, 4 p.m.

Youth in grades 4-8 may join for a different themed, collaborative art project. Theme is pop art portraits.

Film Discussion Club

Oct. 3, 2 p.m. or 7 p.m.

Join for discussion of “King Kong.” Popcorn provided. No registration is required.

Smart Energy Living

Oct. 1, 6:30 p.m. 

Learn about the benefits of Energy Star appliances, LED light bulbs, programmable thermostats and other energy-saving tips. Presented by the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel.

Club Ink Writing Workshop

Optical Illusions

Youth in grades K-5 will see how their eyes play tricks on them as they view optical illusions and try fun vision activities. Homeschool edition is at 2 p.m., or all others at 4 p.m.
