Mobile Memory Lab Orientation

Dec. 11, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Preserve memories with the Mobile Memory Lab, comprised of scanners, reel-to-reel film converter, vinyl record recorder, microphones and software to convert analog materials to digital files. Orientation covers how to use these items and provides hands-on training. Attendance is mandatory before booking appointments with the lab.

Celebrate the Holidays

Join for a day of festive fun. Enjoy crafts and refreshments from 12:30-2 p.m., Rascal the Raccoon from 1-1:30 p.m.; Santa’s elves and children book giveaway from 1:30-2 p.m.; andChardon Polka Band concert from 2-3 p.m.

Ohio Ice Age Animals

A Geauga Park District naturalist will talk to children grades 2 and up about glacial landforms that have preserved Ice Age animal remains in the Great Lakes region, including mastodons in Geauga County.

Chair Yoga
Dec. 12, 2 p.m.
Join local yoga instructor Ann Vickers for a class in which postures are adaptations of traditional yoga poses. Bring a yoga mat and beach towels or blankets.

In Beyond the Brew, Learn about flavoring in a second fermentation and using the brew beyond the beverage. We’ll discuss vinegars, botanicals, fermented foods, cleaners, and more. Take home a bottle of infused kombucha vinegar and detailed guide.  Materials fee is $10.
