Rug Hooking for Beginners
Feb. 10, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Learn how to rug hook with a beginner’s Valentine heart mug rug. Bring a 10-inch embroidery hoop. Materials fee is $20.

Youth in grades K-3 with a caregiver will have Mardi Gras fun.

Chair Yoga
Feb. 13, 2- 3:15 p.m.

Join local yoga instructor Ann Vickers for a class in which postures are adaptations of traditional yoga poses. Bring a yoga mat and beach towels or blankets.

Teen Gaming Group

Teens in grades 6-12 may play the library’s Nintendo Switch and old-school board and card games. Snacks provided.

Color Zoo

Youth ages 3-5 will enjoy stories and playtime with our collection of colorful animals.

Genealogy Resources
Feb. 13, 10 a.m.
Geauga County genealogy and history researchers will be amazed at the wealth of information in the Anderson Allyn Room. Learn what is available and how to use the microfilm reader.

Lego Fun
Feb. 13, 4 p.m.
Feb. 17, 6:30 p.m.
Youth in grades K-5 will practice engineering, math and creative skills.

Soap Making Workshops
Feb. 13, 6 p.m.
Learn the evolution and science of soap while observing the cold process making of handcrafted soap. Learn how to create plant-based, natural and eco-friendly soaps.

Wine and Chocolate Pairing
Feb. 7, 6 p.m.
Join for a date night or just to enjoy chocolate and wine. Must be 21 or over only.

Clarence Bozeman

Feb. 7, 6 p.m.
This workshop, led by Clarence Bozeman, personal driver to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., will take attendees on an independent investigation to ask “Am I a good Civil Rights advocate?” Mr. Bozeman will share his experiences from the Civil Rights Era in America and his work with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The workshop is intended for students in high school through adult age.

The Youngstown Tune Up

Continue the journey into Robert Kennedy’s life with Kent State professor Molly Sergi, as she discusses Kennedy’s time as U.S. Attorney General and his experience dealing with organized crime.

Sit and Knit
