Newbury Community Church is hosting a fresh produce giveaway at 14916 Auburn Road. Cleveland FoodBank provides the service to low income Geauga County residents the third Saturday of each month through October. Please bring ID and bags.
Craft Show and Flea Market
July 15, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A craft show, flea market and farmers market will be held at Troy Community House and grounds located at 13950 Main Market Road in Burton across the street from Troy Self Storage and Welshfield Inn.
Polka-Style Worship Service
July 16, 9:30 a.m.
Join the Chardon Polka Band as it leads a polka-style worship service at Celebration Lutheran Church, 10621 Auburn Road, Chardon.
Following the service, the band will be in concert from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Members of the congregation will provide a free picnic lunch for those in attendance. Kids are welcome. Bring lawn chairs.
Concert will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather.
Donations will be accepted during the service and concert to benefit Project Hope for the Homeless and Lake County Humane Society.

CACC Car and Bike Show

Chardon Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 13th Annual Car and Bike Show at Chardon Square. Free to the public, all makes and models of cars, motorcycles and trucks will be on display. Enjoy live music, raffles, food and more. Vehicle registration is now open.

Strawberry Festival
July 18, 5 p.m.
Claridon Congregational Church will hold its annual Strawberry Festival at the Claridon Center Park located at state Route 322 and Claridon-Troy Road. Claridon Community Helps will serve dinner from 5-6:30 p.m., followed by the church’s traditional strawberries, cake and ice cream. The Great Geauga County Fair Band concert starts at 7 p.m.

CV Herb Society Meets

Prison Art Project Reception
July 21, 7 p.m.
St. Mary Church, Chardon will host the Prison Art Project Reception in the Gathering Space. The traveling art project sponsored by Crossroads Prison Ministry contains moving works as prisoners find beauty and faith behind prison walls through visual, written and sculptural expression.
A brief talk will be given, along with refreshments. The artwork can be viewed through Aug. 4.

Huntsburg Grange Concert

Huntsburg Grange’s bandstand concert with True Country will be sponsored by Ohman Family Living at Blossom. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy.
