Halloween Night Out
Oct. 13, 6-11 p.m.
Friends of Loss Team Geauga County is sponsoring Halloween Night Out at Century Village Bond Building, 1465 East Park St. in Burton. The adults only event includes a gourmet buffet, bar, dancing, contests, raffle baskets and experience auction. Tickets are $65 per person or $110 per couple and are available for purchase at www.friendsgeaugalossteam.org.
Prime Time for K9s
Oct. 14, 12-8 p.m.
Partner with the Chardon VFW Post 6519 to enjoy an afternoon of fundraising to benefit the Geauga County Sherriff’s Office K-9 Unit at the post located at 752 Water St. in Chardon. The event is open to the public from noon to 5 p.m.
A prime rib dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Dinner tickets are $100 and include a reverse raffle. Raffle begins at 7:15 p.m. The event also features a Chinese auction, 50/50 and silent auction. All proceeds will go directly to the K-9 Unit.

Robison Equipment Open House

Robison Equipment is hosting an open house on the square in Thompson, 6767 Madison Road, Thompson Township. The family friendly event includes chain saw carving, chainsaw and tractor demos, face painting, wagon rides, door prizes, food and refreshments.
CV Herb Society Meets

The Chagrin Valley Herb Society will meet at the Bainbridge Library, 17222 Snyder Road. After refreshments and mingling, a business meeting will follow. The program is “Attracting Birds in the Winter, Backyard Feeding Stations.”

Good Deeds
Oct. 17, 6 p.m.
Join Geauga County Probate/Juvenile Court Judge Tim Grendell to learn how to title one’s assets to avoid the probate process. An asset checklist will be provided. A volunteer attorney will be available to discuss estate needs. The free program will be held at Geauga West Library in Chester Township.
Talk and Tour Tuesdays

Woodland Wednesdays Tour
