First Fly-In Of Summer
June 22, 7-11 a.m.
The Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 5 will host its first fly-in of summer at the Geauga County Airport, 15421 Old State Road in Middlefield. Students 8 to 17 can register in advance with parental permission for a free Young Eagle Airplane at Youngeaglesday.org. The event also features a pancake breakfast, youth stations, displays and demonstrations.

Chesterland Village Open House
June 22, 12-4 p.m.
Chesterland Historical Village will host an open house to “Celebrate America” on June 22 from noon to 4 p.m. at the village located at the corner of Caves and Mayfield roads in Chester Township.
Then, on July 11 at 6:30 p.m., the village will host a Christmas in July potluck picnic with Debbie Weinkamer portraying first lady Lucretia Garfield with “The Garfield’s Connection to Chester Township.” RSVP is required by calling 440-729-1830. Both events are free of charge.
Huntsburg Grange Concert

Huntsburg Grange 2541 is hosting a summer concert in the bandstand park located at the intersection of state Route 528 and U.S. Route 322. The drawing for the Rotary Club of Burton-Middlefield’s Maple Splash Raffle will be held at the Maple Splash Festival at Century Village in Burton. Admission is free. There are over $100,000 in prizes including the grand prize of a 2023 Chevy Silverado. The event also includes a 50/50 raffle, live music, food trucks, hot air balloon rides, a clown and balloon artist, games and prizes.

Travel With Parkman 55+
