Basket Raffle and Bake Sale
Sept. 13, noon
A basket raffle and bake sale will be held at Claridon Town Hall, 13930 Mayfield Road. Doors open at noon; the drawing begins at 3 p.m. Tickets are $1 each, six for $5 or 15 for $10. Proceeds will be split evenly between the Claridon Congregational Church and Claridon Community Helps.

Garden Stroll
Sept. 13, 1-3 p.m.
The Chagrin Valley Herb Society will be hosting a garden stroll, rain or shine, at their gardens located at the Bainbridge Library.
The club will be showcasing the work they have done to recreate the gardens and to thank donors, plant sale patrons and the entire community for their support. There will be free drawings, giveaways and the opportunity for guests to meet members and explore the gardens to learn about herbs, flowers, plants and pollinators.

Pancakes and Airplanes
Sept. 20, 7-11 a.m.
Pilots from the Geauga County Airport located at 15421 Old State Road in Middlefield will serve up the best breakfast in aviation. Breakfast consists of all-you-can-eat pancakes with local maple syrup, scrambled eggs and a choice of bacon or sausage. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3-12. Kids under 3 are free.
Free Young Eagle airplane rides will be offered for youth ages 8-17 with parental permission.

Junk in the Trunk
