Parkman Congregational Craft Show
Oct. 25, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parkman Congregational Church, 18265 Madison Road, is hosting its third annual craft show featuring more than 20 crafters and vendors with holiday and special gifts galore. There will be a Chinese raffle and 50/50 raffle, with proceeds benefiting the children’s ministry. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase.
Chinese Auction and Bake Sale
Oct. 25, 12-3 p.m.
Chardon VFW Post 6519 will host a Chinese auction and bake sale at the post located at 752 Water St. The event is open to the public.
Ford Family Legacy
Oct. 26, 1 p.m.
The Geauga County Historical Society and Burton Historic District will host guest speaker Tom Ford in the Auburn Church at Century Village Museum.
Mr. Ford will share the rich history of the Ford family in Ohio, exploring their challenges and contributions that helped shape Burton into the town it is today.
The event is free and open to the public and welcomes attendees of all ages.

Americanism and Government Test
Nov. 6, 6 p.m.
The American Legion’s Americanism and Government Test will be held at Post 459, 14052 Goodwin Ave., Burton. Testing begins promptly at 6 p.m. and lasts one hour.
The test is open to all sophomores, juniors and seniors in Geauga County high schools or homeschool programs. Eighteen winners from across Ohio – six in each grade – will earn an all-expense-paid trip to Gettysburg and Washington, D.C., March 2–6, 2026.
The test includes 50 true/false and multiple-choice questions, plus one essay. Space is limited to the first 50 students. To reserve a seat or learn more, call or text Joyce at 216-392-9752.
Christmas Boutique
Nov. 8, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
St. Anselm Women’s Guild’s annual Christmas Boutique will be held at St. Anselm School, 13013 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. More than 80 vendors will offer a variety of unique items. A bake sale, snack bar and prize raffle with many great prizes will also be featured. Admission is $1.
Join the Boutique Bounce by also stopping at St. Mark Church in Chester Township and Old South Church in Kirtland. Cards stamped at each church will be entered in a free drawing for a chance to win one of three gift baskets.

Chardon Rotary Harvest Auction
Nov. 8, 5:30 p.m.
Chardon Rotary’s 33rd annual Harvest Auction will be held at Guido’s Generations Event Center, 12809 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township. The event includes open bar, dinner and silent, Chinese and live auctions.

LCRTA Luncheon
Nov. 11, 11 a.m.
The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at Mama Roberto’s, 8658 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Social time will be followed by the program at 11:30 a.m. and buffet lunch.
Jenny Sutter from the Willoughby-Eastlake Library will present a program on artificial intelligence (AI).
During the business meeting, members will be asked to vote on the proposed budget for 2026 and the new LCRTA dues structure.
Members are asked to donate winter clothing as well as sheet sets and blankets for the Hope Chest.
