Girl Scout Troop 71437 is hosting its third annual Santa Shoppe craft show at Claridon Town Hall, 13930 Mayfield Road. The show also features a bake sale, Santa and food and coffee trucks.
Night of Gratitude
Nov. 15, 5-9 p.m.
NPower Services, a nonprofit organization that serves adults with disabilities, is hosting A Night of Gratitude benefit dinner and concert at the EOUV Club, 8636 Pekin Road in Russell Township. Doors open at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $85 and include a sit-down dinner, beer and wine and RockAbility concert. The event also includes raffle baskets, wine pull and live and silent auctions.

Thanksgiving Volunteers Needed
Geauga County Department on Aging needs volunteers on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27 to deliver meals to area seniors who are alone for the holiday.
All meals are prepared and made ready for delivery at the Chardon Senior Center, 470 Center St., Building 8, in Chardon. Volunteers will pick up and deliver the meals to their assigned seniors’ homes.

Audubon Talks Berea Sandstone
Nov. 18, 7 p.m.
Blackbrook Audubon hosts a free program on “The History of Berea Sandstone: A Heritage Stone Quarried for More than 200 Years in Ohio” at Holden Arboretum in Kirtland. Dr. Joseph Hannibal will explain what Berea Sandstone is, where it can be found and the history of quarrying in different areas of northeast Ohio.
After the program, Blackbrook will hold its annual ticket raffle of nature- or Christmas-themed books, puzzles, and decorative items and a 50/50 raffle.

LCGS Meeting

Journey back to the Civil War era with the Lake County Genealogical Society (LCGS) during its Zoom meeting. Following a brief business meeting, Kassidy Cobb will discuss how uplifting 19th-century patriotic tunes and music brought joy and motivation to the soldiers of that time. She’ll also share the fun games they enjoyed during their downtime.

Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament

The Chagrin Falls Dads’ Club is hosting its annual Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament at Chagrin Falls Town Hall, 83 N. Main St.
Check-in and dinner begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by a rules review and seat draw at 6:45 p.m. Cards hit the table at 7 p.m. in a no-limit Texas Hold’em format. Late entries are welcome before the first break.

Missions Benefit Christmas Auction

The Missions Benefit Christmas Auction will be held at Buster Miller’s Auction Barn, 17717 Newcomb Road, Middlefield.
Festivities begin at noon with food and an auction preview, bake sale and basket raffles. At 3 p.m., the grand auction starts; bid on experiences, hunts, services and more.
