Auburn Pancake Breakfast
Feb. 22, 8 a.m. to noon
Auburn Scout Troop 101 will host its annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the Auburn Fire Department, 10950 E. Washington St. The menu includes buttermilk, blueberry, chocolate chip and buckwheat pancakes, along with sausage links and beverages.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children, seniors and veterans.
Chardon VFW Pancake Breakfasts
Sundays, 8 a.m. to noon
Chardon VFW Post 6519 is serving its annual pancake breakfasts every Sunday, Feb. 1 through March 29, at the post located at 752 Water St. in Chardon. Breakfast features three flavors of pancakes, French toast, eggs made to order, home fries, sausage, bacon, ham and toast. Call 440-285-3699 for carryout orders.
American Legion Breakfasts

Burton Middlefield American Legion Atwood-Mauck Post 459 is serving its annual all-you-can-eat pancake, sausage and scrambled eggs breakfasts every Sunday through April 19, excluding Easter, at the post located at 14052 Goodwin St. in Burton. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-13 and free for children under 6.

Join for a gentle, progressive style of yoga suitable for all ages and body types in the parlor at the Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North St. No experience is needed.

Property Tax Changes
Feb. 25, 6:30-8 p.m.
The Geauga County Auditor’s Office and the League of Women Voters of Geauga and the Geauga County Public Library will host a moderated program at Bainbridge Public Library about property taxes, how they work and how they support community services. The program brings together a panel of local elected officials, government representatives and school officials to explain how tax revenue is allocated and used within their organizations.
The program is the first in a series of three sessions, with the other two to follow in the coming months. Attendees can submit questions at the event.
Programs are open to the public and require free registration at geaugalibrary.libcal.com.
Career Exploration Open House
March 3, 5-7 p.m.
Students and job seekers are invited to attend a free Career Exploration Open House at KSU Geauga, 14111 Claridon-Troy Road in Burton. The free event will connect attendees with local employers and organizations offering information on careers, summer jobs and workforce opportunities in Geauga County and Northeast Ohio. Participants may network with industry professionals, explore career paths, share resumes and learn about current hiring trends. Complimentary food and raffle prizes will be available.
Representatives from industries including agriculture, education, construction, manufacturing, health care, hospitality, finance, environmental services and workforce development will be available to discuss in-demand careers and employment opportunities.
Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and may submit materials in advance to pbarker@geaugagrowth.com for priority employer review. The event is co-sponsored by Kent State Geauga and Geauga Growth Partnership.

Spring Fish Sale
May 8, 9-10:30 a.m.
The Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual spring fish sale will be held on the midway of the Geauga County Fairgrounds. Orders are currently being taken for fingerling-size largemouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill/sunfish mix, minnows, redear “shellcracker” sunfish and white amurs. Pond safety kits and farm pond management books are also available.
