First United Methodist Church of Middlefield hosts free meals to the community the last Friday of each month. The next God Shares a Meal will take place July 26 from 4-6:30 p.m.
All are welcome. The church is handicap accessible.

Treasure Seekers VBS
From Aug. 5-9, children 3 years old through fifth-grade are invited to join First Congregational Church of Claridon and Lighthouse United Methodist Church for Treasure Seekers kids adventure camp, a vacation Bible school at First Congregational Church, 13942 Mayfield Road. The camp runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Campers will enjoy songs, games, crafts and snacks while searching for treasure in the Bible.
A combined church service at 10 a.m. Aug. 11 at Lighthouse Methodist Church will showcase the treasures that have been found.

Pilgrims Hay Day VBS
Pilgrim Christian Church will hold Hay Day Bible school Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The one-day program is for children 3 years old through fifth grade. Lunch is included.

Chardon Baptist VBS
A free Vacation Bible School will be held at Chardon Baptist Church, 363 Wilson Mills Road, July 28 through Aug. 1, each evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
This years theme, Investigation Destination Following Clues to the King of Kings, will include Bible stories, music, games, puppets, skits, crafts and snacks.
All children who have finished kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to attend. An adult class will also be provided.

Free Night of Music
Zemer Levav will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at Chardon Christian Fellowship. Zemer Levav, pronounced (ZEM-er Leh-VAHV), are the Hebrew words, Song of the Heart.
Blending ethnic and folk with both modern and ancient Biblical instruments, the band introduces the listener to a fresh and vibrant sound. It worships the God of Israel and His Messiah with dancing, harp and lyre, flutes and hand drums and singing the Psalms with King David.
The free event is open to the public. The church is located at 401 South Hambden St. in Chardon.
Lets Grow VBS at Burton CC
Vacation Bible School for children in preschool through sixth grade will be held at the Burton Congregational Church July 29 through Aug. 1 from 6:30-8 p.m. The theme is “Let’s Grow” and will explore Jesus’ parables of seeds and growing.
All children are welcome to attend for learning and fun. The program will include songs, stories, games, crafts and snacks.
