Residents wishing to have their homes visited are asked to leave a porch or outside light on. Children are asked to stop only at homes with lights on.
Auburn Township: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
Bainbridge Township: Oct. 31
Burton Village: Oct. 31, 6-7:30 p.m.
Trick or Treating at Century Village Museum: Oct 31: 5:30-8:30 p.m. Burton Chamber of Commerce will once again host the costume judging at the Century Village Bond Building. For information, contact the Burton Chamber of Commerce at 440-834-4204 or visit www.centuryvillagemuseum.org
Chagrin Falls: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
Chardon: Oct. 31, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Then, from 7:30-8 p.m., Chardon Square Association hosts Halloween on the Square and will hand out bags of candy at the bandstand. The Chardon Police Department will hand out cider and doughnuts and the Chardon Fire Department will lead a parade around the square.
Chester Township: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
Huntsburg Township: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
Middlefield: Oct. 31, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Middlefield Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual cider, doughnuts and costume contest just after 7 p.m. at the Middlefield Fire Station.
Munson Township: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
Halloween drive-thru at the Munson Fire Station: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
Newbury Township: Oct. 31, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The Newbury Volunteer Fire Department will be at Kiwanis Lake from 5:30-6:20 p.m. and Kimberly Estates from 6:30-7:30 to pass out candy and glow sticks.
Parkman: Nov. 1: 6:30-8 p.m. at Parkman Community House
Bring the kids for trick-or-treating, games, goodies and music. New this year is a trunk or treat option in the parking spaces directly in front of the Community House. Call 440-548-2939 to reserve an outdoor space.
Russell Township: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
South Russell Village: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
Thompson Township: Oct. 26, 2-4 p.m. Head over to Hemly Hardware Store, 16600 Thompson Road, for trunk or treat. The library will have games, crafts, photo booth and all kinds of Halloween fun with a special Halloween story time at 3 p.m.
