The American Red Cross encourages donors to give blood or platelets to help protect the blood supply from the impact of ongoing weather events, which have caused the cancellation of nearly 500 blood drives.
All who come to give now through Feb. 28 will get a $15 e-gift card to a merchant of choice.
Donation appointments may be made by downloading the free Blood Donor app, visitingRedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-733-2767.
