Munson Township's annual Easter egg hunt will be held rain, shine or snow on April 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Munson Park on Bass Lake Road. The Easter bunny will be there to meet and greet at 10 a.m. and help the youngsters hunt for eggs.

Congratulations
The Munson Township Scholarship Committee recently awarded scholarships to 18 area high school students who will be graduating in June and going off to college in the fall.
Chardon High School: Sarah Adams, Samantha Austin, Bradley Caldwell, David Douglas, Kelly Douglas, Mariah Gray, John Karikas, Mareha Loos, Elissa Peters, Jessica Piecoch, Ryan Seabeck, Christine Stanko, Emma Stocker, Morgan Tropf and JakeZugan; Notre Dame Cathedral Latin: Brady Kaucic and Enzo Perfetto III; and St. Ignatius: Ryan Young.
Funds for the scholarships are derived from proceeds of auctions and games at Munson’s annual Community Day picnic and private donations.
Best wishes for continued success to each of these fine students as they begin a new chapter in their young lives.
With the Arts
The Geauga Council for Arts & Culture (GCAC) has the photographic artistry of Joyce Erbeznik currently on display in its Art in the Mart at the Geauga YMCA, 12460 Bass Lake Road, Munson, during regular YMCA hours. More information on the GCAC is available by visiting www.geaugaarts.org.
At the Senior Center
“Drop Those Fries and Move Those Thighs” is the fun exercise program and lecture for seniors to be presented by University Hospitals March 23 at 11 a.m. at the Chardon Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Munson. The program offers numerous tips on exercising to remain healthy and active.
Also at the Chardon Senior Center, a program on “Household Habits for Healthy Water” will be presented at 12:45 p.m. March 25. Attendees will create a non-toxic household cleaner to take home. Bob Debevits, from the Geauga Department on Aging’s Home Safety Program, will be offering other home-safety tips.

Save the Date

Bring your own basket or bag for the eggs, which will be turned in for goodies.
