Christmas Caroling
The Spanish Club from Newbury High School went Christmas caroling at The Liberty assisted living facility in Munson Township. The group sang for the residents during their dinner hour on Dec. 20 from 5-6 p.m.
Students sang traditional songs first in Spanish and then in English so that the residents could sing along. Afterwards, the students came back to Newbury and had hot chocolate and Christmas cookies at Mangia Mangia.
The Spanish Club is lead by Spanish teacher Tom Pokorny. The Christmas caroling is a 10-year tradition that the Spanish Club looks forward to doing every year.
