Research In Our Parks

Research conducted by Geauga Park District staff will be on display during two informative virtual programs this fall.

On Nov. 22, from 3:30-4:15 p.m., join in for Research in Our Parks: On Gossamer Wings as naturalist Linda Gilbert features some of the colorful gossamer-winged butterflies from this past spring and summer, plus shares the results of surveys conducted at Frohring Meadows and Burton Wetlands Nature Preserve.

Then on Dec. 12, from 2:30-3:15 p.m., learn about discoveries made during dragonfly and damselfly surveys from the spring and fall during Research in Our Parks: Dragons & Damsels. Naturalist Linda will also host this program, sharing results from the three-year statewide dragonfly and damselfly survey that concluded in 2019.

Both programs use the free WebEx platform to present. Register to get a link to join in.
