Among a variety of virtual programs provided by the park district this winter is The Physiology of Birdsong. Using the free software Zoom, participants will explore the functions of the anatomical structures of the bird that are associated with sound/song production, complete with lots of visuals to help you picture the process.

Registration is required; participants will receive a link via email to join the Zoom.

Additional virtual programs this season include encore astronomy presentations of Mars Rover Perseverance on Feb. 26 and The Zodiac on March 26, both from 7-7:45 p.m.; Maple Sugaring on March 8 for adults in the morning and young people in the afternoon; monthly evening Maple Town Tune Traders Virtual Jam Sessions on Feb. 25 and March 25; and monthly evening Geauga Skywatchers Club meetings that require registration through Geauga County Public Library.
