Geauga Park District resumes boat borrowing at Headwaters Park for the season beginning June 6.
Kayaks and canoes can be borrowed from the boathouse first-come, first-served – and free of charge to county residents 18 and older with an ID – Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, 12-7 p.m. There is a fee for out of county residents.
Each loan can last up to two hours, with the last boats going out one hour before closing time.
Provided life vests must be worn at all times in the water. Before heading out for a boat, read the information posted on the park district website.
