Contemplative Prayer
Pilgrim Christian Church will host Rick Hederstrom III as he will be instructing and leading a study in the practice of contemplative prayer during the Lenten season. The study will begin on Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. and will continue each Wednesday through March 18.
Those interested in deepening their understanding and practice of prayer may call Rev. Chris McCreight or the church office at 440-285-8791. The church is at 202 S. Hambden St., Chardon.
Grief Share Program
New Promise Church, 8671 Euclid-Chardon Road in Kirtland, will begin its Grief Share program Feb. 17 from 7-9 p.m. Designed for people grieving the loss of a loved one, the free workshop includes videos, group discussions and Biblical teaching on grief and recovery. A notebook and helpful materials are included. Refreshments will be served each week.
