Register for Senior Trash Pickup Days
Local townships, villages and city road crews will again work with the Geauga County Department on Aging employees and volunteers to offer trash pickup days for registered seniors 60 years and older.
First, seniors must register with the Department on Aging for 2021 at least one week prior to the pickup in order to be placed on the pickup list.
All refuse items must be outside by garages, outbuildings or in the driveway the evening before the scheduled pickup. Do not leave items curbside. Local road crews and the department on aging staff cannot enter homes.
Trash pickup days are:
Montville Township: May 18 and 19. Sign up by May 11.
Burton Township: May 20 and 21. Sign up by May 13.
Middlefield Village: May 27. Sign up by May 20.
Chardon Township: June 2 and 3. Sign up by May 26.
Auburn Township: June 3 and 4. Sign up by May 27.
Newbury Township: June 7 and 8. Sign up by June 1.
