- Where in the World?: Jan. 13, 11 a.m. Each registered senior will receive a “passport” to be stamped monthly. Get six or more stamps to be entered into an end of the year drawing. January’s “trip” will be Greenland.
- MIND Challenge: Jan. 13, 12:30 p.m. In the preliminary round, teams will compete against each other at Chardon and West Geauga senior centers. Winners of those challenges will move on to compete against other senior teams in Northeast Ohio.

Local author Donald Miller will be at the Bainbridge Senior Center, to discuss his novel, “Power and Passion: An Epic Novel of the 1960s.“
Inspired by the tragic deaths of four Kent State University students on May 4, 1970, the story takes place on Cleveland’s eastside and includes many references to landmarks and buildings in the area.
