- Eliot Ness’s Cleveland: June 26, 1 p.m. The program by the Cleveland History Center discusses the role of Eliot Ness during his tenure as Cleveland’s safety director from 1935-1942. Cost is $5, due at registration.
- Living with Diverticulitis: June 28, 10:30 a.m. Dr. Caroline Soyka, gastroenterologist from UH Geauga Medical, will provide the treatment overview, symptoms and how to prevent diverticulitis.

The Memory Cafe
June 29, 11 a.m. to noon
The Memory Café is a group of local professionals with a shared mission to provide education and recreation for those touched by dementia. The café will be held at the Chardon Library, 110 E. Park St.
Lucille Cimino, of Sound Inspirations Music Therapy, will share an uplifting musical program everyone will enjoy. Take home ideas for using music to add joy and learn where to find additional music therapy resources.

Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP
July 3, 1 p.m.
The Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP Chapter 4527 will meet at the Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road, for its annual ice cream social. Wear a crazy hat or hat of one’s choice; military hats are always welcome. The group will also play bingo and discuss what AARP is fighting for.
The event is free, but please bring non-perishable food for the Food For Friends food pantry, and dog food, dog treats and hot dogs for the Geauga Dog Shelter.
