  • The Positives of Probiotics: Aug. 13, 11 a.m. Presented by Shilah and Christine from Heinen’s Health & Wellness.
  • Lunch & Learn: Aug. 14, 11:30 a.m. Heating system safety in the home at Mapleview. Free. RSVP by Aug. 9.

  • Chair Exercises: Monday through Friday, 9:15-10 a.m. Class combines stretching, cardio and resistance bands.
  • The Beatles in Cleveland: Aug. 15. Author Dave Schwensen will take seniors behind the scenes and on stage with the Fab Four. Presentation will be held at Claridon Town Hall. Brunch is at 10:30 a.m. 11:30 doors to exhibit open at 11:30 a.m. followed by the presentation at noon. Fee is $15 for brunch and the presentation, or $10 for presentation alone. Call senior center with questions.
  • Senior Citizen’s Day: Aug. 21, noon. Celebrate with a free lunch and sundaes. RSVP by Aug. 13.

  • Bocce Ball: Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Held at Sunnybrook Preserve.
  • Music Enrichment: Aug. 10 and 24, 12:30 p.m. Certified music therapist Lucille Brown will entertain and provide an uplifting therapeutic music program.
  • Lunch Out: Aug. 15, noon. Join the West Geauga seniors for lunch at Oak and Embers. Call the center to RSVP by Aug. 13. Cost of lunch is on your own.
  • Geauga Library Lobby Stop: Aug. 15, 1-2 p.m.
  • Theater Traveling: Aug. 17, 12:30 p.m. Join in a free educational series of travel videos on Europe, projected onto a large wall style screen. The second in the series features travel to Athens. Popcorn and refreshments will be served.
