  • Truffle Making: Feb. 12, 1 p.m. Carolina Martin from “The BOM” will bring all the ingredients and supplies while teaching how to make truffles. Fee is $16.
  • Ask a Pharmacist: Feb. 13, 10 a.m. Have questions answered by a representative from UH Geauga Medical Center.

  • Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meet at the Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road.
  • Fridays, activities will be out and about in the mornings, and end up at the Bainbridge Library, 17222 Snyder Road, in the afternoon from 1-2:30 p.m.
  • C.O.P.E.: Fridays, 9 a.m. Join other seniors experiencing grief after the loss of a loved one at Coffee with Other People Experiencing Grief (C.O.P.E.) at Panera Bread in Bainbridge Township. Cooking Demo

Heart to Heart Dance

Feb. 21, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Enjoy a morning of dancing, music and lunch with Chardon High School students and Park Elementary School second-graders at Park auditorium. Sponsored by Geauga Department on Aging and University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center, the cost is $10 per senior.

Parking on square is limited. Additional parking is available at Tractor Supply, 540 Water St. in Chardon. A bus will pick up and transport to Park School at 9:15 a.m. Deadline to register for transit is Feb. 8.

Meal Delivery Drivers

The Geauga County Department on Aging is in need of Home Delivered Meal drivers in Burton Village and Hambden and Huntsburg townships.

The meal routes start at the Chardon Senior Center located at 12555 Ravenwood Drive in Chardon.

The program delivers warm, nutritious lunches Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., to homebound seniors in the community.

Area agencies, organizations, churches and individuals 18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license, may volunteer. Training includes filing volunteer paperwork and a short orientation about the program. Volunteers can deliver meals on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as needed/substitute basis.
