Former firefighter Matt Domonkos was sworn in April 20 as Bainbridge Township fiscal officer, taking over for Janice Sugarman. Trustee Kristina O’Brien administered the oath of office. Domonkos brings a range of public service experience to the role. He has served as assistant fire chief for the City of Beachwood since 2023, according to his resume. He previously owned Novelty Pest Management, operating the business for 21 years before starting a career as a firefighter, which included becoming a lieutenant and aircraft rescue firefighter, according to his resume.
