Geauga County Engineer Joe Cattell announced the start or continuance of construction on the following roads in Geauga County.

Roadway Construction Projects

Asphalt resurfacing of Heath Road in Chester and Munson townships. Asphalt resurfacing of Heath Road between U.S. Route 322 and Wilson Mills Road was scheduled to begin on or about Aug. 15 and will last for approximately 30 days. Traffic will be maintained.

Application of polyester pavement markings to various county roads. Pavement marking/striping operations commenced on or about Aug. 10 and will last for approximately 21 days. Traffic will be maintained.

Old State Road in Middlefield and Parkman townships. Asphalt resurfacing from state Rout 88 north to state Route 528. Work was scheduled to begin on or about July 30 and will last for approximately 45 days. Traffic will be maintained.

Asphalt resurfacing of various roads in Newbury Township. Asphalt resurfacing of Scranton Woods Trail, Dora Drive and Neal Drive. Work is scheduled to resume on or about Aug. 24 and will last for approximately 30 days. Traffic will be maintained.

Asphalt resurfacing of various roads in Bainbridge Township. Asphalt resurfacing of Peppermill Run, Chase Drive and Amber Trail. Work commenced on June 22.

Reconstruction of various roads in Bainbridge Township. Cement stabilization and asphalt resurfacing Tall Tree Trail and Trails End. Work commenced on June 21 and is scheduled to last 60 days.

Asphalt resurfacing of various roads in Munson Township. Asphalt resurfacing of Beechnut Lane and Waterfowl Lane. Work was scheduled to begin on or about Aug. 6 and is scheduled to last 30 days. Traffic will be maintained.

Stafford Road in Auburn Town-ship. Cement stabilization and asphalt paving between Auburn Road and Munn Road. Work commenced on June 1 and is scheduled to last 90 days. No thru traffic; detour route has been posted.
